A Little About It...
Well, for some reason, I decided that I absolutely had to take up guitar. I haven't figured out why yet, but no matter. I'm still having fun!

I bought my first setup on October 21, 2002 and it was the following package deal:
- Harmony HAR20 Electric Guitar
- Johnson 15 watt (RMS) Amp
- Stand
- Gig Case
- Instructional Video :-)
- Picks, etc...

I got this package brand new for $200 from Diamond State Music in Delaware. I don't know if this was a good deal or not, and frankly, I don't care. I like how it sounds and it's something to learn on :-D

Learning Curves
That brings me to learning to play...
I've been playing the trumpet for... Oh about 10 years now, so I have a good grasp on music theory. Still I decided that I needed an instructor of some type to help me learn this new equipment.

I found these great guys over in Massachusettes at a company called PGS (Personal Guitar School). As it turns out they have a great online curiculum so that's what I opted for, and so far it's been great!
